With the Hearts for Uganda Missionary Project, the Italian Catholic Mission of Bern, in collaboration with ASCS, will support the Scalabrinian Mission launched in 2023 in Uganda. After a year of field work, the Scalabrinian Missionaries have developed a deep understanding of the needs.

In Kampala, the Missionaries support local parishes to offer spiritual support, socio-legal assistance and develop community projects. In the Adjumani Refugee Settlements, populated mainly by women, children and young people, the lack of opportunities, support and human training is a significant challenge. Here the Missionaries promote projects and activities with an integral approach that goes from pastoral assistance to professional training.

With this project we want to raise € 25,000 which will support the empowerment of refugee women through tailoring, the training of young people through workshops and educational events, and the training of pastoral agents.
